GivingTuesday, Justice Bus Debut Featured on WLOS
GivingTuesday was held on Nov. 28 and we are thrilled that we exceeded our goal!
WLOS highlighted the impact your gift has on Pisgah Legal and the services we provide to Western North Carolina. Donations help Pisgah Legal function throughout the year and assist people across Western North Carolina.
WLOS also highlighted Pisgah Legal’s new Justice Bus! The Justice Bus is new mobile unit that will allow Pisgah Legal staff to make our services more accessible to folks throughout Western North Carolina.
“In our area, in Western North Carolina, transportation can be a really big issue and can be a barrier to folks,” Pisgah Legal Chief Development Officer Ally Wilson said. “People might not be able to make it to us during normal working hours or things like that, so the bus allows us to have a farther reach.”
The Justice Bus is made possible by generous funding from Dogwood Health Trust.
