Introducing the Justice Bus!
Pisgah Legal’s newest tool to combat poverty in Western North Carolina is about to hit the road!
The Justice Bus will serve as a mobile office, allowing Pisgah Legal staff to reach folks in the most rural parts of our mountain region — folks who often don’t have means of transportation or internet service.
PLS Executive Director Jim Barrett says, “Thanks to generous funding from the Dogwood Health Trust, this new vehicle makes it possible for us to take attorneys, advocates and social workers on the road and truly meet people in need where they are.”
Our community partners are welcome to request the Justice Bus and PLS staff attend their events. Please use the form below if you would like to make a request and we will get back in touch with you as soon as possible.

Please submit your request at least two weeks prior to your event. We may not be able to accommodate every request depending on staff and bus availability.
