After four decades of building, stabilizing, expanding, and leading Pisgah Legal, Jim Barrett will retire in August. To help ensure the continuation of Pisgah’s essential work, we are excited to announce the creation of The Jim Barrett Fund for Justice. a permanent fund within the Pisgah Legal Services Endowment. As a special tribute to Jim, a small group of local donors have set an inspirational challenge to help build this fund, which will match gifts dollar for dollar up to $70,000 between now and July 31, 2024.
Gifts can be made online, by check sent to P.O. Box 2276, Asheville, NC 28802. To discuss other ways to give, including with a Donor Advised Fund or through your IRA, please contact Ally Wilson.
