Jim Barrett Discusses Benefits of Medicaid Expansion with WLOS

In a recent interview with WLOS News 13, PLS Executive Director Jim Barrett spoke about how people in Western North Carolina will benefit from Medicaid expansion.
“We’ve been advocating for this expansion for 10 years because we see so many people who probably wouldn’t be in what they’re in if they could get health care,” Barrett told WLOS.
The long-awaited Medicaid expansion will benefit an estimated 600,000 people in North Carolina!
