Answer Man Reaches Out to PLS About Rental Assistance

Asheville Citizen Times columnist, John Boyle, also known as “The Answer Man” reached out to Pisgah Legal’s executive director, Jim Barrett, in response to a reader’s question about rental assistance. “Pisgah Legal continues to receive on average 1,000 calls each week, and the majority of those calls are related to urgent housing needs,” Barrett said. “We need to act now to secure more resources and work with state, federal and local governments to keep people housed so that the situation doesn’t become significantly worse,” Barrett said. “We certainly appreciate any and all community donations to make this work possible.”
