Help with Home Repair and Rebuilding

If your home was damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Helene, you may qualify for free assistance to repair, rebuild, or replace your home through the Renew NC Single-Family Housing Program. 

APPLICATION DEADLINE
October 31, 2025

Eligibility Criteria: 

• Owned the damaged property on Sept. 27, 2025 and still own it
• Proof of primary residence
• Damaged property is in one of the 29 identified counties
• Ability to provide proof of legal status in the U.S. 
• Low to moderate income
• Ability to prove damage
