This year’s Justice Forum focuses on the intersections of race, justice and democracy and will challenge us to think deeply about our shared history while imagining a more equitable future. We look forward to an evening of thought-provoking insight and inspiration.

Justice Forum at Thomas Wolfe Auditorium – FREE

This year’s Justice Forum will take place at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Harrah’s Cherokee Center starting at 7 pm. Doors open at 6 pm. All are welcome to this free event; registration required. You may register yourself and up to two guests using the link below.

Dr. Imani Perry is a celebrated author, legal scholar, and cultural critic whose work bridges history, law, literature, and the arts to examine the enduring legacies of race and inequality in America. A professor at Harvard University and recipient of a MacArthur “Genius” Fellowship, Perry is known for her insightful books, including South to America, which won the 2022 National Book Award for Nonfiction. Her writing blends personal narrative with rigorous scholarship, inviting readers and audiences alike to confront hard truths and imagine transformative possibilities. With deep roots in the South and a lifelong commitment to justice, Perry’s voice resonates across disciplines and generations. She brings clarity, compassion, and urgency to today’s most pressing social issues, making her one of the most compelling public intellectuals of our time.
