Elder Law Project

The Elder Law Project solves problems affecting low-income seniors.  PLS is dedicated to helping seniors remain as independent as possible for as long as is feasible, despite pressures that make it more and more difficult for them to stay in their homes.

The Elder Law Project also addresses concerns related to: urgent health care needs and rising health care expenses, dependence on a fixed income, vulnerability to unscrupulous business practices and end-of-life planning.

PLS attorneys are available to do outreach to groups of low-income senior citizens at senior centers, housing sites, meal sites and other locations.  To arrange an outreach session, contact PLS attorney Anne Bamberger at 828.253.0406.
