At Pisgah Legal Services, more than 30% of our work provides free legal help to victims of domestic violence who are also living in poverty. Pisgah Legal attorneys help more than 6,000 people each year, primarily women and children, as they escape terrible abuse.

Threats to Our Services

In recent years, Pisgah Legal Services has experienced federal funding cuts that seriously impact our ability to help victims of domestic violence. We will not abandon this important work, but instead are working to raise funds from other sources to support domestic violence legal aid.

You Can Help

Please help us restore this critical funding by making a gift and/or hosting a gathering to educate others about this important issue. You may also choose to contact state and county elected representatives and commissioners to encourage support of programs that help victims escape domestic violence.

You can make a gift online, make a multi-year pledge, or mail a check to PLS, P.O. Box 2276, Asheville, NC 28802.

For more information about hosting a gathering or making a gift, please contact Ally Wilson at 828-210-3444.

Thank you for your interest and support!
